CHRC remains committed to partnering the Duaringa community as part of its long term planning for the Central Highlands region.

The Duaringa 2022 Community Reference Group (CRG) has been established to implement the Duaringa 2022 Community Plan.  This Plan was developed by the Duaringa community when Central Highlands Regional Council (CHRC) created the ten year Central Highlands 2022 Community Plan.

The Duaringa 2022 CRG has representation accross all sectors of the community including:

  • Rural Landholders
  • Youth
  • Seniors
  • Sport & Recreation / Arts & Culture
  • Education
  • Health / Community Services
  • Business; and
  • Industry 

This group plays an important role in supporting the Duaringa community to achieve their vision for 2022.

A group of Duaringa residents took up the challenge in April 2015 to nominate for the Duaringa 2022 CRG.

They saw the opportunity for community, government, business and industry to partner in advancing initiatives for Duaringa and to have a say in planning Duaringa's long term future.
